Learn to Drive

Getting Started

Before you can Learn to Drive a car, you have to be at least 17 years old, and hold a Provisional Driving Licence. To apply for a Provisional Driving Licence, you must complete 2 forms ( D1 and D750) which are available at your Post Office. We suggest that you send off for your Driving Licence in good time, (allow 3 weeks) so that you are not delayed once you have made the decision to get started. You must not drive until you have one.
