BANG VODKA, THE HISTORY
The Bang story is unique, and it is part of what sets this vodka apart from the rest. Not a fad drink born from focus groups & lab tests, Bang is a product of authentic Russian heritage. Company founder Leif Bang spent many years in Russia, searching for the finest distilleries for a product worthy of the family name. After tasting literally hundreds of inferior vodka’s with inflated self images, he challenged Russia’s prestigious vodka makers to submit their best recipe’s for consideration as ‘the world’s best vodka’ Not an easy task….
Leif eventually found what he was searching for by combining the best qualities from the top recipe’s to create an unparalleled beverage….thus Bang Vodka was created.
Believing that only the best vodka can only be made in Russia, by Russians, Bang Vodka is distilled in Russia and at present being imported into the USA where it has taken the Southern United States with phenomenal success.

MY INVOLVEMENT
In the days of HMS Victory, the men were issued with a half pint of rum per day, not so in today’s modern world of passenger Cruise Ships, but one sunny Sunday afternoon in July 2004, I was summoned to the Captain’s Quarters. Captain Leif Otto Bang, Master of the second world’s largest Cruise Ship appeared in a buoyant mood…’Safety’ he boomed in his gruff Norwegian accent, (I was his Safety Officer on board)…’Taste my new Vodka!’ I’m still not certain, but somehow, Captain Bang had known about my passion for vodka. Although only a small nip was issued to me over ice, I loved it. This was truly a vodka that superseded all other vodka’s that I had tasted, and, yes, I have tasted quite a few in my time! It was from that moment that my own interest in Bang Vodka began. In the hectic schedule of Cruise Ship life, the idea of introducing Bang Vodka to the UK market begun to constantly occupy my mind, and after numerous meetings with Leif Bang, Captain Bang’s son, the idea has now finally become a reality…Bang Vodka will soon be readily available for everyone to enjoy in the United Kingdom, where it will be without doubt be revered by vodka connoisseurs, lovers and party goers everywhere.
